You are like the rain that brings life to the soil.

God distinguished you by your good morals—

the most beautiful of women bear witness;

you are like the moon, more exalted than any planet—

all bear witness to God’s wisdom and might.

I strive to reach you, the great beauty

who overwhelms me with her goodness.
